What is your favorite chocolate delight?
I love plain dark chocolate that is 70% cocoa. You know, the kind that's just barely sweet enough to cover the bitterness of the cocoa. That's the kind I like. I also like dark chocolate covered candied orange peels and dark chocolate covered marzipan.
What was the first thing you ever cooked?
Chocolate oatmeal cookies. Not the kind that are baked but the kind that you cook in a pot and drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper so that it can cool into cookie shapes.

Yes, I once tried to cook a mackerel the way my mother used to and it stank up the entire kitchen with a horrible burnt fish smell.
If skill and money were no object, what would make for your dream meal?
Mmmm, I love so many foods that this is impossible! Perhaps a Morrocan cornish hen, with couscous and fruit. Or perhaps an Indian meal of Chicken Korma, naan, relishes, and mango lassi. Or maybe, glazed duck with rosemary potatoes, and mint peas and carrots... The list could go on forever! I have a passion for food!
What are you doing this weekend?
I'm driving eight hours to visit my Mickey in Raleigh, N.C. I intend on moving there in the fall and I'd like to spend more time there visiting with Mickey's friends and getting used to it.
What's the one thing you hope your Mother never finds out about you?
I hope my mother never finds out I'm not a Christian. She would worry incessantly about my soul and it would burden her unnecessarily. She would blame herself, somehow, and punish herself.
Hair can just out-of-the-blue start growing on the most unusual places on our bodies? What is the oddest place you've had hair begin to grow?
I have one rebel hair next to my right nipple that began to grow out of control a few years ago. I let it grow, at first, purely out of curiousity for how long it'd get. Finally, I just got tired of it and pulled it out. It grew back and I've pulled it out several times by now. It refuses to die.
What do you think happens to us after we die?
I think we cease to exist. I don't believe in an afterlife. I wish I believed in an afterlife because it would be more comforting but I just don't
Skydiving, mountain climbing, bungee jumping, these are all pretty extreme and exciting experiences? Have you ever risked your life for that type of a thrill?
I've rock climbed and I've mountain climbed and both were pretty dangerous. I was in the wilderness for a month on a NOLS course.
What (if any) illegal drug do you think should be legalized? Care to explain?
Marijuana, LSD, and mushrooms should be legalized. None of them are completely safe but neither is alcohol. And those drugs would actually become safer if they had to follow FDA guidelines. Also, smart drugs should be legalized.

No, the only "dark force" in my life has been my ex-boyfriend Chris.

Verdi's Requiem. I'm not Catholic and I don't believe in the afterlife but it's perfect to sob to. And it's so much better than Mozart's Requiem.
